Citibank Tokyo Picks Teknekron For 100-Position Trading Room

Citibank will build its new 100-position trading room in Tokyo using Teknekron Software Systems Inc.'s Teknekron Information Bus (TIB) feed-handling and workstation software. The bank has decided to run the system on DEC hardware and Ultrix, DEC's version of UNIX, in line with Citi's global strategy to build its trading-support systems on that platform (TST, Oct. 7, 1991).
