Chase Technology Staff Shakeup Unites Evaluations And Support Under Schimoler

MANAGEMENT AND STRATEGY

Chase Manhattan Bank vice president Gary McFelia has left his position as head of the bank's trading support group, leaving vice president and trading room architect Bill Schimoler with a larger chunk of authority over trading technology decision- making.

McFelia continues to report to Chase senior vice president technical services Doug Williams, with responsibility for local area network technology. Sources say that the changes were instituted rather suddenly, and without any formal announcement
