Kidder Peabody To Eye Data Distribution Systems For 600-Position Trading Room In New York City

Kidder Peabody & Co. is gearing up to evaluate vendors for a new data distribution platform that would support some 600 traders at its New York head office.

According to Joe Carrubba, Kidder senior vice president and manager of telecommunications, the firm is still in the very early stages of the process. "I don't have any preconceived answers," says Carrubba. "I'm open to see what's out there."
