Brokers Tap California-Based Barra To Build Malaysian Equity RiskApp

APPLICATIONS AND PRODUCTS

A group of 16 Malaysian securities firms and fund managers has teamed with California-based Barra to develop an equity derivatives risk modelling system tailored to the Malaysian market. Work on the project began this month. Barra officials expect the risk model to take between six and twelve months to complete.
