The London International Financial Futures Exchange's (LIFFE) Automated Pit Trading (APT) system (TST, Apr. 24) will go live on Nov. 30. The Euromark futures contract will be the first traded over the electronic system, followed the Bund contract two weeks later. APT will include options contracts by early 1990 and the majority of all contracts by mid-year. The system will operate from 7:00 a.m. until the opening of pit trading at 8:10 a.m. and from 4:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., resulting in 11
