Green Is Not Optional

That's a staggering figure. I can't remember the last time I read a news item announcing the launch of a new power plant. Expecting to see the regulators approve 30 power plants in the next two decades seems to be a pipe dream.

It's not time to break out the abacuses and whale-oil lamps yet, but this should give firms, and everyone, a serious pause. How long can IT continue consuming power at the current rate?
