IXNET USING NEWBRIDGE NETWORKS EQUIPMENT
Newbridge Networks' asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) technology "is the ATM platform of choice" for Ixnet, a New York-based network service provider subsidiary of IPC Information Systems, says Jim Roberts, Ixnet's director of product marketing. Ixnet's new ATM network is comprised of the Siemens /Newbridge Mainstreetxpress 36170 Multiservices Switch, designed to support native cell relay, frame relay, broadcast quality video, LAN internetworking and IP
