Teknekron Selected For RBC Trading Room Project

Royal Bank of Canada will base its planned treasury trading room on Teknekron Software System Inc.'s Teknekron Information Bus (TIB) workstation-based information architecture. The decision brings together for the first time Teknekron and Hewlett-Packard Co., whose HP 9000 Model 360 computers will play host to TIB.
According to Kevin Butcher, manager of trading systems for RBC's treasury division, the selection of Teknekron will allow the bank to act "as our own systems integrators."
