State Street Boston Corp. has set plans to upgrade and expand its capital markets trading room in Boston. The new trading room will be supported by Market Vision Corp.'s MV Link digital data distribution and workstation software system running on Sun Microsystems Inc. SPARCstations.
For the initial rollout, the trading room -- located in the bank's 225 Franklin Street headquarters -- will comprise about 50 traders, primarily of fixed-income securities. In the near future, however, the system
