Westpac Seeks Vendor To Market OS/2-Based Deal Capture System

Westpac Banking Corp. is seeking a third-party software firm to market an OS/2-based Deal Capture and Position Keeping (DCPK) system it has developed for a 170-position trading room at its Sydney, Australia, headquarters. The bank is currently marketing the system internally to its trading operations worldwide as part of its so-called Dealer Workstation strategy.
Westpac's DCPK was developed as part of a project to bring a common platform to its trading operations worldwide (TST, Nov. 4, 1991)
