ASX SUFFERS OUTAGE
The Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) suffered a three-hour trading interruption of its equities market on Nov. 7, following an "apparent software problem" during the start of trading, say spokespeople at the exchange. The outage led to "potential corruption of key trade and order data," according to the ASX Web site. The exchange promises to conduct a thorough review of the incident.
