Morgan Stanley's New Building May Bring New Platform

Having agreed to purchase an office building in midtown Manhattan, Morgan Stanley & Co. now finds itself with a clean slate upon which it will likely build a new trading room technology platform. Meanwhile, separately, the firm has signed to install ILX Systems Inc.'s PC-based quote services in support of several hundred users at its existing premises, including its over-the-counter equities traders.
