Reuters Takes A Hard Line On Dealing 2000 Integration

Reuters Holdings PLC's policy of prohibiting integration of Dealing 2000 with internal decision support systems may create an opening for rival suppliers of automated foreign exchange trading systems. Some Dealing 2000 users say that the first of Reuters' rivals to take a more compliant attitude to integration with banks' pre-trade systems could find itself in the money.
Reuters' Dealing 2000 is delivered as an interactive video service accessed via dedicated terminals. Reuters says it currently
