Neon Share Price Takes Hammering, Rebounds Slightly After Buyback News

New Era of Networks' share price has taken a severe hammering this year: having tickled $100 in the first quarter when it reached $96.25, it is now creeping along nearer $5.

Third quarter results pointed out that almost 30 percent (around $10 million) of Neon's sales were paid in "soft currency," equity in or partnership deals with the companies to which it had sold middleware, causing the share price to drop 50 percent in a day two weeks ago.
