Espeed Hopes Getting There First Pays Off

EARNINGS REPORT

NEW YORK--After only a little over a year in business Espeed has generated electronic transaction revenues of over $20 million in the three months ended June 30 and, although it’s still not operating in the black yet, it is attracting a respectable amount of liquidity.

Overall, the company reported a net loss of $9.2 million, but says Espeed president and COO Frederick T. Varacchi, "We expect our overall operating expenses will grow at reduced rates going forward."
