Financial Technology Corp. Unveils Basket Trading System

Financial Technology Corp. (FTC) has introduced a basket trading system for equities that allows a user to route orders to exchanges from a workstation on his desk. FTC is seeking to license the software for the system to brokerages seeking to lock in their institutional clients, and to small firms trading for their own account.
FTC's system could allow brokerages to provide a low-end and lower-priced alternative to such systems as Jefferies & Co.'s Quantex, an order-routing and analytics system
