Investment Dealers' Digest Splits With Parent, Merges With MLR

Two weeks ago Investment Dealers' Digest Inc. broke away from London-based parent United Newspapers PLC in a management-led buyout and merger with MLR Publishing Co., a Philadelphia provider of mergers and acquisitions information. The merger pairs IDD's publishing and information services divisions, targeted primarily at investment banks, with MLR's publications and online M&A database, also used in the investment banking community.
The new company will be known as IDD Inc., capitalizing on IDD
