Cantor Fitzgerald is in the final stages of agreeing on an acquisition of UK-based Tullett & Tokyo Liberty that could result in hundreds of job losses in London, according to a report in The Independent on Sept. 17. The report says that the deal "reflects the need for cost-cutting in an industry which has been revolutionised by the increasing automation facilitated by new technology."
