Weeden Cuts Data Latency

Greenwich, Conn.-based broker Weeden & Co. has installed Activ Financial's low-latency consolidated feed, ActivFeed.
The firm is using the feed to deliver data from North American equity exchanges to its Tradewise price server and program trading system. "They could get futures and options data from ActivFeed as well, but they're a Nasdaq market making operation, so they don't require futures and options data at this stage," says Activ president Frank Piasecki.
