Advest To Renew With Quotron For 1,000-Position Retail Brokerage System

Hartford, Conn.-based retail brokerage Advest Group Inc. is close to re-signing its quote-terminal contract with incumbent Quotron Systems Inc. The deal will cover 1,000 Quotron Q1000 quote display devices in Advest's 90 branches nationwide.
News of the impending Quotron deal follows Advest's signature of a separate contract with rival vendor Automatic Data Processing Inc. to outsource its back-office processing functions. ADP and Quotron, along with Thomson Financial Services Inc.'s ILX Systems
