Deutsche Börse Revamps Data Policy

The new non-display agreement requires any firm using data in this way to be licensed directly with the exchange as of April 1, 2008, unless they have already signed a broader market data dissemination agreement (MDDA). "This new provision is part of the MDDA, but we also have the standalone agreement only for non-display information usage," says Georg Gross, head of front-office data and analytics at Deutsche Börse.

The exchange originally planned to introduce charges for non-display data usage
