FTSE Takes Over Enviro-Tech Index, Relaunches Straits Times
FTSE calculates the index in real-time using free-float information and share prices, and distributes index values, total returns and constituent-level data in real-time along with data on other FTSE products via its network of data vendors, including Reuters, Bloomberg, Thomson Financial and others.
The index was originally developed in 1999 by Impax, which partnered with FTSE last October to have the index provider take over the calculation, distribution and sales and marketing functions.
