Two years ago in this space, I predicted that multi-asset trading platforms would be making their appearance just about now. I further wrote that the leaders in providing multi-asset-class services would be those firms that were willing to break down the walls between both business and technology silos. Finally, I expected to first see multi-asset-class offerings from trading platform providers and then brokerages.
