Arrakis Planet attracts Cambridge talent to design Morgan Online wealth management tools. By Daniel Safarik

In 1999, Glenn Smith, head of Morgan Online, and six developers from JP Morgan set up in Cambridge, Mass., near the campus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, to begin creating a Web strategy that would collect and redistribute JP Morgan research for private clients.

The development facility they created, Arrakis Planet, is the headquarters for all the wealth
