Chicago-based O'Connor & Co., one of the largest derivatives firms, is reportedly entering the equities market in a big way with a 24-hour equity trading network, EnterLink. The system is backed by one of O'Connor's principals, the chairman of the Chicago Board of Trade, William O'Connor. EnterLink is being built with the help of the Chicago-based software firm ATIS Inc., and will link to O'Connor's back-office accounting system. The system will run on Sun Microsystems Inc. SPARCstation-2s over
