Lamoureux chosen to lead Thomson's integration drive

BOSTON -- Bob Lamoureux, the former chief executive of Boston-based financial services vendor WorldStreet, has been appointed vice-president of technical strategy at Thomson Financial's Investment Management Group (IMG).
Lamoureux says his appointment coincides with Thomson's product aggregation strategy, which, he says, will transform the vendor's current asset management products into a single, cohesive set of services that are efficient, modularized and easily extended to its clients.
