Linedata Reporting will power the upgrades, which will allow users to create customized reports and view them in different formats on a variety of devices.

Thierry Soret, head of back office asset management at Linedata, tells Buy-Side Technology the development and implementation of the upgrades took less than two months as Linedata was able to leverage existing technology.

This is the second time this year Linedata has made significant enhancements to its web portal. After initially allowing clients to access fund information and reports and carry out order entry through mobile devices, the firm decided to expand its mobile offerings. Now core fund accounting activity can be viewed on networked and mobile devices.

"Clients are looking for efficiencies of scale through automation and access to data allowing for efficient exception-based straight-through processing," Soret tells Buy-Side Technology.

Soret says enhancements to Linedata Mfact, Mshare and Optima, along with expanded regulatory reporting and enhanced integration with Linedata Compliance are all upgrades the firm is looking to make in the near future.
