SunGard acquires IBS
SunGard has acquired Integrated Business Systems, a NY-based provider of software solutions and related services to the hedge fund industry. IBS's flagship offering, Visual Portfolio Manager (VPM), is a portfolio accounting product used by more than 50 hedge fund managers processing in excess of $135 billion in assets. VPM joins Front Arena, Monis, InvestOne Enterprise, and InvesTier in SunGard's stable of buy-side focused offerings.
