We genuinely value our track record of winning this award for six consecutive years, and put forth our best efforts to carry on
SIX Group
The solution
SIX supplies clients with its corporate actions data in standardized formats to support straight-through processing. Over 70 event types are aggregated from a variety of financial markets and delivered to customers worldwide in customizable or industry-standard formats like ISO 15022 MT564, allowing them to tailor the data to meet their specific needs. Additionally, over 50 organizations have partnered with SIX for streamlined distribution of aggregated data into a wide variety of technology and banking software suites.
Secret sauce
SIX leverages more than 25 years of expertise in corporate actions to develop features and services that help its clients with their corporate action data processing. Its instrument coverage and data fields are underpinned by a wide range of delivery tools and features. This helps financial services firms manage risks and optimize the automation of any corporate actions-related operation. The firm’s data offers flexibility, quality and accuracy, allowing clients to navigate the complexities of modern-day markets.
Recent milestones
SIX has launched two solutions to cover new business cases around corporate actions:
- The SIX BOT provides professionals with access to corporate actions data on a global scale via Symphony. They can use simple commands to request the latest events and the SIX BOT will answer and return the main attributes per event type.
- The Corporate Action Calendar is an automated tool allowing clients to track and process upcoming corporate action events across all their portfolio companies.
Future objectives
Delivery is a key aspect when accessing data. This year, SIX will launch a new delivery tool, the Bulk API, which will allow its clients to plug its corporate actions data into their master data systems according to their specific format and timing requirements. This API is part of the firm’s SIX API series, a human-readable, plug-and-play suite of APIs that support all reference and market data integration needs.
