Asia Awards 2022: Best trading network—Broadridge Trading and Connectivity Solutions
OVERVIEW
Broadridge Trading and Connectivity Solutions (BTCS)—formerly Itiviti before it was acquired by Broadridge in May 2021—operates the NYFIX order routing network, connecting more than 2,100 buy-side and sell-side participants. Broadridge is focused on helping its clients optimize their trading and operations through a range of solutions.
“NYFIX is heavily relied upon by the largest banks and financial institutions for critical messaging. Stability and resilience are key. We are committed to the continual innovation and advancement of our technology. The ongoing integration with Broadridge opens more opportunities to develop NYFIX as an enterprise solution servicing both the buy and sell-side communities. We are best positioned to serve our clients’ entire trade life cycle.”
Ray Tierney, president, Broadridge Trading and Connectivity Solutions
THE SOLUTION
Broadridge’s NYFIX is able to support every asset class. Its clients can add new asset classes and instruments—through the Fix protocol—across equities, FX, fixed income, derivatives and cryptocurrencies, while having access to a growing suite of pre-trade, trade and post-trade tools and services. Clients can also access transaction-cost analysis (TCA) services off the back of the NYFIX network to monitor best execution, with the ability to drop-copy trade data to third parties for reporting. The network has SSL and encryption built in and anonymizes all message data to prevent information leakage. BTCS has been investing in NYFIX architecture and also innovating its user interfaces, workflows, analytics and cloud functionality.
WHAT’S TO COME
By integrating with Broadridge, BTCS now has more opportunities to develop NYFIX as an enterprise solution servicing the buy side and sell side. This includes NYFIX further integration within Broadridge’s product suites. Fix routes will be provided to Broadridge Investment Management Solutions, Broadridge’s LTX bond trading platform, and its wealth management platform. In addition, NYFIX is forming partnerships with crypto exchanges and venues to meet institutional demand.
WHY THEY WON

Constant evaluation and investment in cloud technologies ensures that NYFIX can scale to meet the growing messaging demands of the market.
Asia-Pacific Adoption
