WHY THEY WON

You can’t talk about the market data industry without talking about Bloomberg. While many of the major providers have been involved in significant acquisitions, Bloomberg’s stability stood out to voters in this category.

WHAT’S NEW

Over the last year, Bloomberg has invested heavily in technology and content to help customers navigate changing market volatility and diverse work environments.

Bloomberg has created a global presence of cloud native connectivity for real-time products in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.

Content enhancements have included services that provide liquidity analytics for customers’ portfolios, the ability to customize VWAP calculations, and a new service that helps customers map changes to security identifiers historically.

WHAT’S TO COME

Bloomberg’s 2022 product roadmap will continue to focus on core pillars of investing in its B-PIPE market data feed, supplementing market data with value-added datasets that can solve specific business functions, ensuring their our technology allows customers to run their applications anywhere, and helping customers reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) and administrative burdens through software-as-a-service (SaaS) tools for reporting, entitlements, and monitoring.
