Quad Screen? What Quad Screen? Bloomberg Alternative Vanishes

Bloomberg L.P.'s Quad screen has disappeared from the vendor's repertoire, to be replaced by a mere two-screen plasma-panel display. Speaking of the much-talked-about four-faced alternative to the standard Bloomberg terminal, the vendor's senior sales manager Lou Eccleston says: "It doesn't exist; it never existed." He declines to comment further.
Currently being tested at one large brokerage, the new two-faced Quad screen appears now to be one big yawn. Its all-important ability to display
