ITG CEO And President Scott Mason Loses Year-Long Battle To Cancer
OBITUARY
NEW YORK--Scott Mason, president and chief executive of Investment Technology Group, the owner of the Posit electronic crossing network, died from cancer on Tuesday, September 8.
The company had announced in January that he was receiving treatment for his illness.
Mason was named ITG's president and CEO in January 1997, with the intention of having him succeed ITG founder and chairman Raymond Killian, who was planning to retire.
