Reuters' First Quarter 1996 Results: Asia Sales Growth Stays In Single Digits

Although it warned last year that it could not assure double digit revenue growth this year, Reuters did indeed deliver that kind of growth in the first quarter--14 percent, or 9 percent excluding currency fluctuations. Revenue growth rates in Asia were 7 percent, or six percent ex-currency. That's well below Reuters' global figures, but still better than Asia's five percent revenue growth in the previous quarter.
