Tokyo Stock Exchange Wants Online Trading Order System Ready By 2003

TOKYO--The Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) has announced that it will replace its existing systems and put its entire trading order systems online by the year 2003.

This includes trading systems for futures, options, stocks, bonds and large lots. The TSE will begin by integrating its futures trading system with its options trading system in September. Next, the focus will be on the stocks and bonds systems, which will be reexamined by 2000.

Before those changes occur, the TSE expects to roll out next
