Treasurers Consider Internet Trading, Say Banks Are Not Ready

LONDON--More than 70 percent of UK corporate treasurers say they will consider using the Internet to buy services from their banks in the future, but only 22 percent of these treasurers think that their banks are ready to use the Internet as a primary delivery channel.

A survey by IT consultancy TCA, based on responses from 60 UK and US corporate users of wholesale banking, finds there is considerable scope for delivering corporate banking services over the web.

TCA’s survey also reveals that
