CSK Corporation Creates New Unit Staffed By 300 Ex-Yamaichi Employees

TOKYO--CSK Corporation has founded a software development and consultancy company, staffed largely by former Yamaichi Information Services (YIS) employees.

YIS is the soon-to-be-defunct IT unit of bankrupt Yamaichi Securities. The new Tokyo-based information systems unit, called the Japan Future Information Technology and Systems (JFITS), will focus its efforts on the Japanese financial services industry, at least initially.
