Thomson and DTC to Create Combined Trade Processing Platform by Mid-2001

Boston-based Thomson Financial ESG and New York-based Depository Trust Co. (DTC) now have a timetable for the recently announced merger of their trade processing businesses.

William Hodash, managing director at the Depository Trust & Clearing Corp. (DTCC), the DTC’s holding company, says he expects one new platform combining the two firms’ trade processing services for both US and cross-border trades by mid-2001.
