JP Morgan Refutes 'Banana Deal' Claim: Pinnacle Alliance Hits $150M In Savings

NEW YORK--In response to a charge that its Pinnacle Alliance outsourcing effort has been a "disaster", JP Morgan officials say that the cutting-edge project has netted $150 million in savings.
JP Morgan along with Andersen Consulting, Computer Sciences Corp. (CSC) and others formed the Pinnacle Alliance in 1996 to support a seven-year outsourcing plan (Trading Systems Technology, May 27, 1996). For the first year of operation, JP Morgan officials say the initial savings were $28 million in IT
