Bloomberg And Salomon Launch OTC Execution System In Europe

Bloomberg L.P. and Salomon Brothers International Ltd. have launched the Salomon Brothers Execution System (Sabre), a screen-based system that allows firms to trade over-the- counter fixed-income and equity products electronically, with real-time prices. The Sabre system has been available since the beginning of June in Belgium, Finland, Germany, Ireland and the U.K.; it is not scheduled for any specific release date in the U.S.
