Users of Reuters' real-time data delivery platforms have hit a snag in their efforts to adopt the vendor's newly released, and much hyped, 3000 series of historical data services. When the problem was brought to its attention, Reuters confirmed its existence independently and then informed users of a plan to eliminate it.
The problem affects customers seeking access to both Reuters' mainstay real-time data and its newer historical data. Reuters requires such users to install a 3000-series
