Reuters Plans D2000-2 Forwards Service; Asian Betas To Follow European Testing

Reuters' beta tests of its Reuters Dealing 2000-2 Forwards automated matching service have already started in Europe and, following a successful test phase, intends to expand these tests into Asia, says Ros Wilton, managing director for transaction products, with corporate global responsibility for risk management products. The forwards service was previewed at last week's World Forex '97 congress in Toronto.

Reuters kicked off beta tests well-ahead of its main rival, the Electronic Broking
