Daiwa Securities Moves To Extend Reach; Puts Odd-Lot Trading On I-Way

Daiwa Securities has set plans to provide real-time access via the Internet to its online US Treasury odd-lot trade execution system, known as the Odd-Lot Machine. Washington, D.C.-based Folger Nolan Fleming Douglas will be one institution beta-testing Daiwa's Internet service. Meanwhile, separately, Daiwa also plans to provide end-of-day odd-lot prices to Cash Markets Group's Internet-based market data service, NYquotes.com.
Daiwa hopes the Internet version of the Odd-Lot Machine will expand
