FIX Will Reach Low End Of Market With Indications Of Interest Software

Next month, Thomson Financial Services' Autex group will introduce version 2.0 of its Autex+ software, and it will market the package to low-end firms that until now have largely been overlooked in the financial services' industry adoption of the Finan cial Information Exchange, or FIX, protocol. The system provides a FIX-compliant indications of interest, or IOI, function, which are common in the full-scale order management and routing systems used by large firms, but are usually not available
