DOJ Looking Into Antitrust Issues, Bridge Sale Continues; Fininfo Exits?

NEW YORK--The Department of Justice (DOJ) is looking into Reuters’ plans to purchase some of the assets of Bridge Information Systems, with regards to antitrust issues, confirms a spokesperson for the DOJ.
The spokesperson declines to comment further. A Reuters spokesperson says Reuters has not yet made its Hart Scott Rodino filing. If a company making an acquisition of another business meets certain DOJ criteria (which the Reuters/Bridge deal does), it is required to submit a Hart Scott Rodino
