Reuters Picks Putnam To Manage 401(k); Cites Money Manager's Technology
TECHNOLOGY STRATEGIES
Reuters America Inc.'s recent decision to hand over $90 million in non-union 401(k) pension funds to Putnam Financial Services Inc. was motivated--at least in part--by Reuters' belief that Putnam's technology was superior to that of its competitors. In particular, Reuters cites the firm's advanced optical document management system and back-office efficiency as motivating factors in its choice.
