Interview: Chambadal Explains SmartStream's Involvement in SPReD Utility

Philippe Chambadal, CEO of SmartStream, talks to Victor Anderson about the recently unveiled SPReD reference data utility.

In the 10-minute interview, Chambadal touched on what the SPReD is and what it seeks to achieve; the appeal of creating a reference data untility to the three banks, who put aside their competetive differences to collaborate on the project; and what SmartStream brings to the table as the initiative's technology partner.

  • Have there been any tweaks to the platform since its launch?
  • What are the next steps in terms of building SPReD's presence as an industry-wide reference data utility?
