Momentum Trading's Garrett Nenner Combines Tech Savvy with Human Logic

Garrett Nenner has seen the worst that the capital markets have to offer. He witnessed Black Monday first-hand in 1987. “That was a time when phones were not being answered—I saw guys staring at the phone,” Nenner recalls.

He was there when Drexel Burnham Lambert closed its doors in 1990 after Michael Milken’s  fraudulent activities in the junk bond market forced it into bankruptcy. Discouraged and jobless, Nenner almost re-applied to medical school.
