Algo Tech Vendor Horizon Debuts Data Replay Tool for Trading, BestEx
The replay feature will support strategy back-testing as well as demonstrating best execution.
The module works alongside other Horizon Platform functionality, which includes modules for algorithmic trading, agency trading and market making, and for trading in warrants, delta one derivatives and options.
The Replayer records market data for a range of asset classes and instruments—including stocks, futures, options, bonds, indexes and exchange-traded funds—which can then be replayed at any time to simulate real-time market conditions, enabling traders to analyze, benchmark and test
