Taiwan Exchange Completes Deployment of Second-Generation Trading System

As trading continues its slow march towards becoming completely electronic, exchanges around the world are reinforcing their infrastructure and systems to handle demand from both within and without. The Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) is the latest to complete a full systems upgrade, moving its Fully Automated Securities Trading (FAST) system to the second generation, with vast improvements in speed and capacity.
